LOCKED OUT - of either home or office?
Linacre Locksmiths employ a fully qualified locksmith and offers to gain entry to property using non-destructive
means wherever possible. Should non-destructive methods not be possible (seized or vandalised locks for example) then
replacement locks will be installed promptly. The Linacre Locksmiths intention, however, is to gain you entry without
damaging any lock or door. If you need an emergency locksmith then we are a phone call away.
LOCKS INSTALLED?
We only fit and replace branded products - no cheap imports are used. Quality products at fair prices.
All external wooden door mortice locks we fit are to the latest British Standard insurance approvals - as standard. We
can supply and fit window locks, patio door locks, internal door locks etc. We can also fit digital locks to doors so
that no key is needed, just entering a code number will unlock the door. This code can be changed whenever needed, and saves
having to change the locks and give everyone new keys, should ex-members of staff leave for instance.
LOCKS REPAIRED OR REPLACED (for insurance purposes maybe. Or keys lost/stolen)?
We specialise in uPVC door locks and have many replacement parts in stock, or can obtain next day.
Almost all Insurance Companies now demand that all exterior door locks are rated to BS3621 (British Standard), or locks with
at least 5 levers, and that window locks, with removeable keys, are fitted to all windows. This means that all wooden
door mortice locks on final exit doors need to be 5 lever and many insurance companies now insist on these locks also being
certified to British Standards. You might have a good front door lock but what have you on your back door? A 3 lever lock
maybe? What about that simple 'burglar friendly' Yale latch on your front door! Check your policy - they may not pay
out if you get burgled! We can either upgrade that to a BS version or recommend a BS deadlock be fitted in addition to the
standard Yale latch. We are able to replace any lock that has become worn or seized, and also supply and fit new locks
wherever you need them. We are a 24 hour locksmith service, so any time day or night we can be with you.
NEED KEYS CUT?
Household, domestic or business? Dont worry, Linacre Locksmiths offer a key
cutting service whereby you can bring along your keys to us for copying, or if we are already with you on site then we can
cut any keys while you wait. If the key(s) you wish copied are numbered then contact us first to check our stocks to
save time.
OTHER SECURITY DEVICES?
Linacre Locksmiths can also install other security devices such as security chains on doors, peepholes, mortice
bolts, hinge pins etc. We also fit Keysafes to external walls so that friends, relatives and carers can enter the correct
code and obtain a key to enter premises in an emergency for example - essential for the more vunerable members of our community.
